El Grito Taqueria is inspired by the history and culture of street food in Los Angeles, California. Co-proprietors Joshua Barraza and Matthew Danky draw upon their deep roots in Southern California to bring the complex layered flavors of Mexico to the streets of Madison, Wisconsin. El Grito Taqueria is here to pay homage to the Mexican tacos that have been served for generations. Offering both regional and celebratory dishes, El Grito Taqueria highlights flavors from all over Mexico, as well as the modern day taco culture in the United States. El Grito Taqueria is not only passionate about the food they serve, but about Madison's eclectic community - a place they are proud to call home.
